SundayWorship
God promises, in the Bible, to meet with people when they gather for worship in Jesus’ name. That’s why we gather every Sunday (at 4:00 at The Central Mission). And, just as any encounter with ‘greatness’ leaves its mark on us, this weekly encounter with the God of the universe changes us. It reminds us of what’s true—about God, us, the world, and the work of Jesus in the world—and calls us to enter into that reality with our whole lives. We tend to move away from what’s true, toward de-formation. We always need reminding and re-forming. God meets with us in weekly worship to do just that. It’s not safe, but it’s good. Join us if you can.
