VisitUs

What to expect on your visit:

Children: Nursery is provided during the service for kids from birth to age 3-ish, but all kids are welcome and even encouraged to worship with us.  We’re happy to tolerate a little noise and movement among us for the sake of teaching our kids to encounter God in worship!

There will be a 30 minute “KidsLife” time immediately following the service for kids from age 3 up through 1st grade.  Children in 2nd through 7th grade are invited to come before the service for music and KidsLife classes from 3:00 to 4:00.  The kids will enjoy some combination of Bible lesson, snack, activity, and singing.  The Winter 2012 KidsLife session runs February 5 to March 25.

Handicapped access: There is an elevator, located through the side entrance on Fry Street.

Dress: Come as you are or come as you long to be.  You’ll find the attire all over the map here, and you’re not going to be judged by what you wear.  Here’s why: There are two approaches to ‘church’ attire.  One says, “Wear whatever, because you don’t have to get cleaned up to come to God; that’s what Jesus does for us.”  The other says, “Bust out your ‘Sunday best’ because Jesus doesn’t leave us where we are, but cleans us up.  So, let’s anticipate the glory awaiting us.”  Both realities are gloriously true, so come as you are or come as you long to be.  Just come!

Location: We worship at The Central Mission’s building at 1632 Charles Ave in St. Paul.  The building is 2 blocks North and West of the intersection of Snelling and University.  It’s just north of I-94 (take the Snelling exit) and about 3 miles south of Hwy 36 down Snelling.

Parking: There is parking in the lot immediately east of the building.  Enter the lot from Charles Street.  There is also ample parking on neighborhood streets.
